This example is of English origin and dates circa 1820. There is a tiny chip at the tip of the spout. Otherwise it is in excellent condition. the height at the rim ia about 2 1/4".

LIVERPOOL TANKARD
This delicate Liverpool pottery mug or tankard is decorated with a transfer that shows a clever and humerous way of depicting matrimony versus courtship. When the mug is inverted, the faces take on a completely different expression!. The tankard is of English origin late 18th or early 19th century. There are glue remnants of several old collection labels, which could easily be removed, and a partial approx. 5" hairline crack running horizontally about 1/2" up from the base. The height is 5".

LIVERPOOL MUG
A Liverpool mug of English origin dating to the late 18th or early 19th century. It is titled The Old Man His son and Ass. The transfer depicts a scene of people and a donkey. The text reads:
"Sure never was brute beast so void of nature
Have you no pitty for the creature
To your own baby can you be unkind
Here Luke Bill Betty put the child behind.
The height is 3 5/8". There is an approximate 2" hairline from the rim and a clay impurity in this area on the interior.

A late 18th or early 19th century English Liverpool mug. The transfer decoration consists of text that reads :

The mug is in good condition with only a minor chip to the base. and minor discoloration. the hieght is approximately 3 5/8"

TINY DOLL'S TEA SET WITH TRAY
This is a tinly porcelain tea or probably really a coffee set set that dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. All of the pieces match and all are in excellent condition. The porcelain pieces are white with painted gold details. Included are a covered coffee pot, covered sugar bowl, creamer two cups and two saucers and a matching porcelain tray.. Two very tiny stemmed wine glasses are also included they are of the correct scale to go with the rest of the items and were with the rest of the set when it came into our possession. To give some idea of scale, the coffee pot is 2 " tall The set is not marked by a maker.

BAT PRINTED BOWL
This is a beautiful bat printed bowl with a print in the style of Adam Buck. It dates circa 1820 and is of English origin,. The bowl is in very good condition with no chips, lines or repairs. It has a wonderful transfer of a woman and child. There is some minor wear to the transfer and pink luster banding. The diameter is 8 1/4". The height 1 1/2".
