NICKEL PLATE RAILROAD SET BY COR COR
This is a large early pressed steel toy train made in the 1930's by a company called CorCor or Corcoran Mfg..  The engine and train car both have their original paint. and decals which identify them as the Nickel Plate Railroad Engine 1501 and Railway Express Car 1515.  The engine measures about 10" X 27".. It has a bracket on the base made to hold 2 D size batteries.  Wiring from the battery bracket goes to the light at the front of the engine..  The express car measures about  9 1/2" X 24".  It has wiring  remaining to one of the two tail lights which extends from a bracket under the top of the car.  There are no dents in either piece just some scattered wear to the paint from the toy being played with over the years.  There is alligatoring to the paint on the Express Car from attic storage.   We have not tried to clean these up in any way other than brushing off any loose dust.
