ETHAN ALLEN RUNNING HORSE WEATHERVANE
A late 19th century weathervane with a nice verdigris patina. The hollow body copper weathervane depicts race horse Ethan Allen. The hrose has a nicely detailed cast iron head. There are a few repaired bullet holes and some minor seam separation but overall this weathervane is in fine condition. It is 29 3/4" long and 18" high. It is mounted on a new iron base.

LATE 19TH C. EAGLE VANE OR LIGHTNING ROD
The is a really unusual figural lightning rod in the form of a hollow body copper eagle. It is in a small easy to display size. The overall height to the tip on the shaft is only 28". The wingspan is 24". The eagle and orbs are in their original worn surface. There is fantastic detail to the tail and to the feet, feathers and talons! The iron shaft is original and was made to protrude through a collar on the eagle's back. The copper orb that sits toward the top of the shaft looks to have always been there. The eagle is mounted and will pivot on a custom stand for display.

EARLY 20TH C. SHEET IRON HORSE WEATHERVANE
A fantastic large folky weathervane in the form of a running horse. It is huge measuring 42 " long and 24" high. It has an as found crusty old surface. The remains of a pipe are attached to the back from the time it spent mounted on a barn. Because it is flat, it can be wall mounted where you can appreciate its fine silhouette. Mounted on the wall at the peak of a cathedral ceiling or any large expanse, it looks absolutely fabulous!

19TH CENTURY RUNNING HORSE WEATHERVANE
A very attractive Ethan Allen hollow body copper running horse weathervane in a strong verdigris patina. The horse has a cast iron head. It was a barn top target at some point in its life as evidenced by the numerous bullet holes. Most of these have been repaired with lead. This particular horse really conveys a strong sense of movement. The length is about 291/2" . The height is 18. The custom made stand is included.

This is an extraordinary hollow body copper fish weathervane in excellent original condition. We are pleased to offer it. It was removed from a Cape Cod barn over 40 years ago. The weathervane retains much of its original gilding. The length is 24".
